Elisa is an award-winning creative director and designer who has worked in digital media since the early 90's.

An independent creative practitioner specialising in visual communication and interaction design, she is skilled in concept creation and development, UX and visual design and thrives on interdisciplinary collaboration. Her main interests lie in storytelling through interactive audio-visual experiences which foster social engagement. Passionate about cultivating emerging design talent, Elisa tutors and lectures in visual communications in the Faculty of Design at UTS. In 2011 she initiated a subject with Google, Sydney now in its seventh year.

She has created interactive installations for the H&M Flagship store in Sydney, Ernst and Young, Optus and The Royal Naval House, data-visualisations of shark tracking for the Sydney Aquarium, the UTS Library’s underground robotic storage system and channel activation for Seven West Media. In 2016-17 she was an Inaugural DX Lab Fellow at the NSW State Library.

Elisa spent 5 years in Barcelona where she formed part of area3, an award-winning hypermedia group focusing on the fusion of design, sound and technology. She was also course coordinator of Digital Design at the European Institute of Design, Barcelona and involved in projects including the creation of a mixed media audiovisual show for the Olympic Museum in Lausanne, Switzerland. Elisa graduated with first-class honours from Visual Communications at the University of Technology, Sydney, in 1997.
